Just to say thank you for your generous support at our UJW Fundraiser on the 15 June 2011. Thanks to your kindness we were able to raise a substantial amount of which R4500 will be donated towards Cheshire Home's Miracle Kids. This is an outreach programme that receives no government subsidy.
This donation will fund the outreach program for one month.

A special thank you must go to Charleen for the many months of liaising, brainpicking and for answering my incessant questions. I know you must be inundated with the same type of queries daily. Thank you for always replying promptly and patiently and making me feel like I was your only bride.

One does not know quite where to start as your package has so many facets. A very big thank you to you all for making our fairy's wedding so special this past weekend. You had obliged to every request. The venue is just amazing and our guests could not stop raving about it. As the behind the scenes worker (in an effort to keep things within allocated budget) I had experienced the most amazing warmth, support and initiative with quick plan B's (serviettes etc) from your team. At no stage did you make me feel as if I was in the way - to be allocated the kitchen on Friday for the flowers was amazing - thank you. Planning a wedding from out of town is quite a mission and as Paul knows I arrived with just about everything except my kitchen sink! Here once again, storage of the boxes and paraphernalia was no problem to Paul! Thanks for the use of the wendy house for this purpose. What a pleasure to arrive on Sunday morning to have absolutely everything already packed up and waiting for collection.
The food was excellent - the Sardinia Trio was wow!!! The waiters serving snacks on the lawns were great and they just kept on rolling in.
Thank you for your recommendations regarding the DJ, photographer and videographer. They were absolutely amazing and here too, we can highly recommend them to any future bride.
Thank you for making Karin and Dewald's day so special. We can highly recommend the Plantation as the venue for a wedding and endorse all of its accolades. Keep it up and may the awards continue to roll in for 2011.

The venue on its own is absolutely spectacular and with the decor it just felt like we were in a dream :) Everyone was talking about how amazing the venue looked and they are still talking about it....... and the food! The food was absolutely delicious, and yes, the portions were bigger than what we expected, ha, and definitely value for money.....Compliments to the chef :)
Everything went perfect on the day, not even a tiny problem....we couldn't have asked for more :)
Plus it was great having a little surprise as well with the monkey's that showed up, ha! (Phil did say he wanted animal at the wedding, he did actually mean Lions etc, but I had to put my foot down when it came to that, lol)
The only regret I have is it was over so quickly :( I just want it all over again!

Lets be honest, I thought Carolyn was crazy booking a venue at that price, but I now understand the price for the venue.
I, and all the guests, are of the opinion that it was the most fantastic experience we have ever had.
From the moment I first made contact with you Charleen, up to and including this e-mail from you Paul, it has been highly professional and friendly service.
The people serving us at the bar and at our tables were excellent, professional and very pleasant/friendly.

“Having now returned from our honeymoon, Pieter and I would once again like to thank you and your team for hosting our wedding. We really appreciate all the trouble you went to and the effort you made to ensure that our special day was just that. From the heaters in the chapel, to the set-up of the reception venue, the clearing of tables afterwards and the friendly service from your waiters. The chocolates and champagne was also very sweet of you.
Our breakfast was fantastic and the presentation of both the breakfast and our meals the evening was really pretty (loved the little cream hearts in the soup). We got many compliments also regarding the soup and the chicken.
We would also like to thank the guy who vacuumed our car for us the next morning, because the best man and company went completely wild with the Styrofoam, which is still present in our car when the aircon is switched on.

You will not believe the feedback we have had from friends and relatives with comments such as “best wedding ever attended”, “fairytale wedding”, “out of the movies”, etc. From the Service in the chapel, to the cocktails and snacks outside, on an absolutely superb PE evening, the wonderful music of the Cotillion Quartet, and then the Reception with an outstanding meal, and then on to a fantastic party till the early hours of the morning (my 88 year old mother was photographed dancing with my 3 sons at around 11 pm!)The Band even commented that the crowd was far livelier than at their average CT function!
All your staff was outstanding, with Lisa and yourself giving excellent advice over the past few months, which must have been fairly difficult, dealing with two families’ wants, sometimes conflicting. Bronwyn was an excellent hostess on the night, and was seen through the evening checking and re checking that everything was going according to plan. My sister and mother also commented on the lovely accommodation with an excellent breakfast the following morning.
